Exhibition Série Limitées in the Pavillon de l’Arsenal, the Paris center for architecture and urbanism

9 septembre 2022 until 25 September 2022

Lucie Ponard reuses the excavated materials of the Paris Region to make ceramic tiles, showing the aesthetic potential and the colors of the Parisian soil. Hundreds of ceramic tiles are exhibited, made from excavated materials from metro lines, gypsum quarries, and building constructions, or collected from landfill sites, revealing the potential of the Parisian palette. For the designer, the exhibition is part of a longer process that should lead to a bigger production of tiles.
